Leather up

Leather joggers are definitely in for Autumn, and since H&M have just launched their Alexander Wang x H&M collection featuring leather joggers, I thought I'd show you guys a cheaper alternative in this post! Although these are faux leather, I dont' think you can tell the difference and I love the finish on the material. Since these are a little long for me I rolled them up a few times, but I prefer this look.
Duster coats are also everywhere this season and I love this one from New Look. The material is so expensive looking considering it was only £29.99, and the length is perfect for me being only 5"2. Since I do wear a lot of black, I thought I'd add a pop of colour to this outfit with this cute shoulder bag from Oasis in a lovely orange/red. This goes perfectly with the snakeskin skater shoes and blouse.

River Island Bargain of the week...

So the sales are all on recently and I hadn't had the chance to fully look around, but I popped into town for an hour on Sunday and thought I'd look in River Island because their sales are usually amazing, and there was the bag of my dreams reduced from £45 to £25!! It was the last one in the store, and I've got to mention I have wanted this bag ever since it first came out! Can't explain my happiness with it, so I just had to share it with you guys.

Make sure you check out the River Island sale here

Gridlock

Today's post features this beaaautiful jacket I received from Chiara Fashion this week, and I've fallen in love with it! The pattern and colours just go with absolutely everything, and the weather has been perfect as it's just the right material to keep you warm in Autumn. At only £14.95 I think it's such a bargain, so I'd recommend checking out their website.
I'm really loving fur and fluffy accessories this Autumn and have seen these scarves everywhere. Mine is from where I work in Wallis and it feels so soft and cosy, and the colour goes so well with my jacket it's a perfect combination. My fringe bag is also the perfect colour for this outfit and casuals it down for everyday wear. My top I bought from Zara when I was in Tenerfie, but it is available in UK stores and from their website! It helps create a monochrome outfit along with my leather skirt, with the grey accessories contrasting, making this outfit one of my favourites.

Casual denim

So I am embracing Autumn and bought a few new bits to celebrate this. Ripped jeans are such a staple and I can't believe I've gone this long without a pair, but I always thought they wouldn't suit me... but then I was pulled into Zara by this pair and instantly fell in love. They're super comfy as the material is nice and stretchy, almost molding to your legs, and I like how the rips are quite subtle and not all over my leg (appropriate for the colder weather to come..) I also don't have much grey in my wardrobe which I think is a staple colour as it goes with everything, so when I spotted this high neck top in River Island I just had to have it. I love anything high neck because it just looks so flattering, and ofcourse keeps your neck warm....
My camel coat is from Missguided and has recently been restocked to everyone's delight as I know so many people were after this but it had sold out! I bought it a size up so it would look a little oversized as I prefer this look with boyfriend style coats, and I feel the camel/jean combination just transports this look into A/W.

What's new in my wardrobe

So this post is a little different..I'm just giving a little preview of what's new in my life and my wardrobe (there will be a full outfit post to follow).
I'm finding it a little difficult to fit in taking photos of my outfits as the days are getting shorter and it goes so dark and dull by the time I'm ready to shoot an outfit, very frustrating indeed!! But I'm more into the routine of Sixth Form now, just need to perfect my personal statement to send off my Uni application this week ahhhh. It's going so quick, I'll have left home before I know it, but it's reassuring to know I'm applying to courses I'll really be interested in...

Full details of where everything is from will be in the post to follow

Paris Fashion Week - Elie Saab SS15

This is my last post on PFW as I'm going to focus back onto more outfit posts now I've got a little more time to take the photos and edit them etc... but I just had to squeeze this collection in as I thought Elie Saab SS15 was one of my favourites. This is purely because of the femininity and flattering structure of the pieces, I love how the long dresses flowed behind the models and the deep neck lines flattered them perfectly. This is unusual as models can be made to look so masculine these days, but I feel Elie Saab have kept the purity and shape of the models' waists.
I loved all the colourful prints contrasting with the delicate lace details on some of the designs, and with the classic black contrasting with blues and orange, this collection has got me thinking of Summer 2015 already!

Paris Fashion Week - Chanel SS15

So it's clear everybody was talking about one thing at Paris Fashion Week - the Chanel parade. This was a true statement by Karl Langerfeld and really made the SS15 collection stand out. The fact the catwalk was the streets of Paris, featuring actual puddles on the road really made this show original, a new direction for Chanel.
With tweed suits contrasting with bright colours and intricate embellishment, you couldn't miss any of these pieces, they were so classic Chanel. With Cara Delevigne leading the way, this really was one of the highlights of PFW 2014.

Paris Fashion Week - Louis Vuitton SS15

So as you all know, Paris Fashion Week was recent and showed some of the most prestigious collections from Alexander Mcqueen to Chanel to Saint Laurent, but a collection that really stood out to me was Louis Vuitton SS15 which Vogue described as 'the show of the season'. This collection just really spoke to me with the uniqueness of each of the pieces, from intricate lace dresses to car printed trousers to mixing animal print. As I'm currently looking at baroque and excess in my fashion project, I think this collection really relates to me right now so I thought I'd show you just a few of my favourite looks:

I loved these bags, especially the white croc effect in the center.
I'll be posting Chanel, Alexander Mcqueen and Valentino as these were the other collections that really stood out to me when researching the Paris Fashion Week catwalks.
