London Fashion Weekend - Trend Catwalk

So as you saw in my last post, I visited London Fashion Weekend last week and have already shown you my favourite looks from the Designer catwalk featuring Marchesa Notte's designs, and this week I'm sharing my favourite looks from the trend catwalk. This featured various designers with the garments provided by Outnet.com. I loved every design, especially the orange Oscar de la renta dress!!

Hope you like these photos, I'll be posting the outfit I wore to London in my next post a long with a few touristy photos!

London Fashion Weekend - Marchesa Notte

So on Saturday I attended London Fashion Weekend, which has to be a big highlight of my year. I found everything so inspiring from the catwalk shows, right down to what people were wearing around Somerset House. I find streetstyle just gives you so many ideas of what people are wearing this season, and how you could incorporate their style into your own.
I watched the trend and designer show, which featured these beeeeautiful dresses from Marchesa Notte's most recent collection. These were my favourite looks of the catwalk...they all make me want to go to some fancy ball wearing one of her gowns.
Enjoy :)

I will also be posting some photos from the trend catwalk, which featured various designers from Outnet.com so be sure to check that post out soon.

The Statement Topshop Playsuit

This will be my last holiday post, but I had to post this beautiful Topshop playsuit. I have seen it absolutely everywhere and no wonder because its such a lovely design. I feel it is a real statement piece due to the tailored strapless design. I just had to get it in the colour white as I feel it looks so classy, and the white trend simply never goes out. As its such a simple design, I paired it with these patterned courts from Primark, which were surprisingly easy to walk in. They are also still in shops so keep a look out!
My necklace is from Wallis, and I think the single band went perfectly with the strapless neckline.

Late holiday style diary 2 - Ways to wear the crochet skirt

So I bought this crochet skirt from Topshop before my holiday and I saw the black version in Topshop Oxford Circus and fell in love, so it may find its way into my wardrobe very soon.
So as I wore this skirt a few times, as its so versatile and flattering, I thought I'd show you 3 different ways I wore it...
1. With Topshop printed crop top, sunglasses and sandals

So following the Topshop theme, this top is also Topshop and I love the china print style of it, I feel it makes it looks really unique compared to your standard crop top. I actually bought it a few sizes up to make it a bit longer and looser as I find with the nature of crop tops they tend to fit quite tightly which I don't feel looks the most flattering so I would recommend the same to anyone else.

Skirt - Topshop (for some strange reason it's not on their website, so i found a similar one here and here)
Top - Topshop (very similar here)
Sandals - Primark
Daisy Ring - Pandora
Sunglasses - River Island

2. Missguided bardot top and printed courts

So this lovely looking top is from Missguided, and at only £12.99 I thought it was a bargain. The material is like scuba so it holds in place perfectly, and is just an overall lovely top. I thought it would compliment the skirt well, and it picks out some purple tones in my heels which I thought complimented the top well. I kept jewellery to a minimum here as I thought the focus needed to be on the top and I didn't want to clash with the neckline.

Top - Missguided (no longer available in lilac but I love the cream and yellow
Skirt - Topshop
Heels - Primark

3. Topshop crossover bralet, cream clutch and heels

My final outfit I bought all together as I thought they all went to well. My bralet was hung above this skirt when I bought is so naturally I needed them both! I thought this top would be way too low and not suit my figure at all, but surprisingly I feel so secure in it and it fits like a glove, so I absolutely love it. My nail varnish is from Barry M and matches the blue perfectly.
My clutch is from New Look and unfortunately went in the sale and sold out but a different colour is available here in the same style. My block heels are from Dorothy Perkins and match absolutely everything due to the neutral colour.

Heels - Dorothy Perkins - also love this style
Bralet - Topshop

Hope you enjoyed this post,

Updating my blog..

So it's quite clear I sort of abandoned my blog for a few months due to exams and just not having the time/motivation to keep it up. However, as its autumn and I will be applying to University soon I decided I want to start it back up, but change the style of it.

I've changed the name to 'Fastrack to Fashion' as I feel this is a more catchy blog name and possibly more professional. I also want to do more of an outfit of the day approach where I'm literally taking photos and posting the outfits I've worn to sixth form or work that day rather than planning my outfits as this is more realistic for other people and really shows my personal everyday style.

I'll be changing my bloglovin profile too, so if you could give that a follow on the link:
https://www.bloglovin.com/blog/12898801
I'd be very grateful. :)

Late holiday style diary 1 - Blooms and neutrals

So I know I am ridiculously late posting these types of photos (woops) as they are still from summer, but lets count this as a late holiday outfit post. I know I haven't posted in absolutely months but I'm getting back into blogging and I will be posting just a few of these outfits before I promise I'll go back to autumn/winter style!! So let's just reminisce on summer even though I may still squeeze in some of these outfits before the cold weather kicks in...

So this dress is a Missguided special and I loooove the swing style as you really don't need to worry about how it looks! The pattern really caught my eye as the colours are so striking and just beautiful. I paired the dress with my current favourite accessories; my clutch bag from New Look (only £9.99!!) and block heeled sandals from Dorothy Perkins. I love how well they matched and I wore them together very often while I was away.
